GET/v1/models/{model_id}

Get a Model

Get a specific model.

The Models API response can be used to determine information about a specific model or resolve a model alias to a model ID.

5 parameters
model_idstringrequired
Model identifier or alias.
anthropic-versionstringoptional
The version of the Claude API you want to use. Read more about versioning and our version history [here](https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/api/versioning).
anthropic-betastringoptional
Optional header to specify the beta version(s) you want to use. To use multiple betas, use a comma separated list like `beta1,beta2` or specify the header multiple times for each beta.
x-api-keystringoptional
Your unique API key for authentication. This key is required in the header of all API requests, to authenticate your account and access Anthropic's services. Get your API key through the [Console](https://console.anthropic.com/settings/keys). Each key is scoped to a Workspace.
anthropic-workspace-idstringoptional
Optional header to select the Workspace for this request. The value is a Workspace ID (for example, `wrkspc_011CZkZaBF1tNoB5wlCeusgy`). Only needed for credentials that can act on more than one Workspace. A credential that belongs to a specific Workspace may omit it; if sent, it must match that Workspace.
